About Marie Fox:

Painting is my passion! I love trying to capture in paint the colors, shapes and textures of fruits and vegetables. I'm intrigued too by the reflective surfaces of silver, copper and glass and by objects both ordinary or exotic. Painting each day is my creative means of getting to the heart of things.

Recently I've been painting still life & figurative work on large canvases. This feels like home to me, perhaps because I'm tall. Big canvases also encourage a long exploration of an idea or subject. I’ve painted for many years and have created folk art for The White House, Panasonic, Bigelow Tea, Toyota, the Mayor of Boston and many private clients. My paintings have been featured twice on the Today Show as well as on the covers of Country Living and US Air magazines. I've been represented by galleries in New York, Boston, Nantucket, Charleston, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
