About Lisa Greenstein:
I have been painting and drawing since early childhood. My mother was a painter, so it was natural for me explore art materials. I did my formal studies at the California College of Arts and Crafts,in Oakland, California, concentrating mostly on drawing at that time. My paintings have been exhibited in many juried shows,and galleries in California.Since joining the Daily Painters website in 2006, I have produce many small format oils exploring traditional representational subjects...figures, still-lives,and landscapes. The practice of working fast and small is like making a painting diary, and I'm learning more and more about how to -or how I paint.
