I think my Artists' Statement should simply proclaim...."Not Edgy." :>)
Although you'll find a variety of subjects here in my gallery, I most love painting people.
I do quite a few portrait commissions, specializing in Children in everyday natural settings and pursuits, rather than stiff formal portraits.
I'm definitely a colorist, not a tonalist; and consider myself a contemporary realist with impressionist leanings.
I like to paint almost every day, although sometimes life gets in the way.
