About Robin Cheers:
One of the things that art does at its best is to let us see the familiar as new and the ordinary as extraordinary. This is why I like simple scenes painted well enough to awaken people to the beauty and wonder of our contemporary world. Inspiration is found in ordinary places, my style is immediate and painterly, with strong design and lively color.

My work is described as narrative, capturing a moment in time and creating for the viewer a sense of having just looked in a window, waiting for a figure to pass back in or out of the frame.
