Who is the newest Daily Painter?

Well, if you've watched this contest page for the last couple weeks, you may have noticed that two contestants have been running neck-and-neck. One moment Jonathan Aller would be a few votes ahead, and then the next day Kimberly Kelly Santini would be in the lead. Both of these dedicated artists apparently have quite loyal followings - when all was said and done each of them had more than twice as many votes as anybody else in our top five!

So, who's the winner? Officially, Jonathan Aller is our contest winner and he will receive our official first place prize including admission and one year free membership to the Daily Painters Gallery, and the $500 gift certificate from Blick Art Materials. Because the voting was so close, we've also awarded a second prize - admission and one year free gallery membership to Kimberly Kelly Santini.
