I have had a love for art for as far back as I can recall. I spent my youthful years with pencil or brush in hand, absorbing public school art classes and drawing on my bedroom walls, all under the eyes of loving and supportive parents. Throughout my formative years, my art helped define who I was, and then I gave it up. I don't know why. Now, after years of aimless wandering, I know who I am again, and I have realized that art changes the way I see and experience this world. It allows me to better appreciate the fullness of seemingly empty moments in the woods, or the calm in between the percussive raindrops of a summer storm. These are the moments I hope to capture and share with you...the alchemy of light, sound, scent, and perception that gives us a reason to breathe. I feel blessed to live in a place where I literally have forests full of models and skies full of changing light to flatter them. I strive to better absorb and portray the simple beauty I see around me. I hope you enjoy my work.
